Salutations!

My name is Sofir Fernandez! Born and based in Chicago as the youngest of four, I am a motivated animator with a passion for collaboration, friendly competition, and teamwork in production. A constant learner, I seek out new experiences and additional classes wherever I go, following whatever inspiration finds me. The endless pipeline of possibilities for new innovations in animation continues to inspire the work that I do and helps keep my mind fresh with creativity and ready for feedback. By pursuing different artistic pursuits, I believe it will enrich the quality of my work as well as my mind in the workplace and in my personal life.

A recent Computer Animation graduate from Ringling College of Art + Design, I'm always open to new adventures with a fun crew of creatives! Alongside my chimera puppy, Janeway, we're prepared to take on any challenge that comes our way. With a craving for breaking down a good fight or dance scene, I will happily be the weirdo filming reference wherever it suits me. If I'm not animating, I'm sword-fighting at the local Renaissance Fair, or even competing in local eSports tournaments or nerdy bar debates.
